David Rhead transferred to UIC after attending ASA College in Miami, FL. Rhead graduated from Thomas Haney Secondary School, where he played for the varsity boys’ basketball program for five seasons. In his Senior year, Rhead was named a starter and team captain. Rhead is from Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada, pursuing his business degree. Rhead plans on inspiring others through basketball and creating his own basketball training business after pursuing a career as a professional basketball player.
